FAQ
Reusable Filters
Coffee Sediment
Just like when you brew a full pot of coffee, you may have coffee sediment when using your Brew & Save reusable filter. If you prefer no sediment, we recommend using a Brew & Save paper liner (sold separately) with your reusable filter. Brew & Save paper liners are available at Walmart.com and Walmart stores in their housewares department. They are 100% biodegradable.
Fits Like a Disposable K Cup

If your Brew & Save reusable filter doesn't fit in your coffee maker's filter holder like a k cup typically would, first check that the hinge of the reusable filter is at the back. If it still doesn't fit like a k cup typically would, it sounds like it may not be compatible with your brewer. Please visit our compatibility chart for confirmation and our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee if need be.
Brewer Won't Close
If the brewer cannot close, first check that the hinge of your reusable filter is at the back of the filter holder and try again. If the brewer lid still cannot close it sounds like the Brew & Save reusable filter may not be compatible with your coffee maker. Please visit our compatibility chart for confirmation and our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee if need be.
Error Message
If you receive an error message from your coffee maker, it sounds like the scanning mechanism may be disrupted. Keurig 2.0 machines have a color code reader. After a few brews the color code reader may become covered in coffee residue and the scan can be interrupted.
There is a simple fix. Open the coffee maker lid and locate the color code reader underneath the lid. The color code reader is small and to the left of the back needle.

Once located, take a swab and wipe off the residue. The filter should start reading again. We recommend cleaning after every few uses.
This should take care of your issue. If after cleaning the color code reader, you continue to get an error message please contact Customer Support for assistance.
Paper Liners
Designed Especially for Use with Reusable Filters

Brew & Save paper liners are designed to be used with reusable k cup style filters as a means to more closely replicate the brewing experience of a disposable k cup. Disposable k cups contain paper liners. Brew & Save reusable filters are made of BPA free plastic and stainless steel mesh. Reusable filters and paper liners are sold separately. If you need a Brew & Save reusable filter they are available at Walmart.com and at Walmart stores in their housewares department.

Brewing Tips
Flavor
Want bolder flavor? Simply add more coffee. It's all adjustable and a step up from a disposable k cup. Nothing beats the flavor derived from being able to add freshly roasted coffee to reusable k cups!
Coffee Grind Size
We recommend using standard or drip grind coffee with your Brew & Save reusable filter.
